Spring Organization

Spring is a busy time for many people, especially college students. We are trying to finish up the school year and plan for summer jobs, but it’s so nice outside that spending extra time doing work is the last thing we want to do. However, there is one simple thing we can do to make our lives easier: staying organized. Spend a few hours organizing your living space, and you won’t have to spend time stressing about where that job application is, trying to remember what you have to do for the week, or where your favorite summer lipstick went. Following these tips will allow you to relax outside with a drink in your hand rather than sitting inside, sifting through clutter.

Make a pretty “to-do” list by painting the glass part of an old mirror with chalkboard paint, and writing important tasks or appointments you have for the week. It will be something pretty you can hang on the wall, as well as a functional reminder that keeps you on schedule.

To stay away from a messy stack of papers, that can accumulate within a few days, splurge on some pretty file folders where you can keep job applications, school documents, and other miscellaneous papers that are important.

Nothing can be more frustrating than getting ready to go out on a Friday night, but not being able to find anything you need. Most girls have a makeup bag or drawer where they dump all their favorite products in, but that can get messy very easily. Instead, buy some cheap plastic containers, you can spray paint them for a better look, and organize your beauty products so they are easy to find, and you don’t end up putting lip gloss on your eyelids when you really meant to reach for your eye shadow.
